Admissions

Welcome

Lori GleatonWelcome to the 2011-12 school year. I'm so glad to see so many familiar faces and so many new faces. We are starting the school year with over 30 new students and more who will be joining us throughout the year. I am thrilled that our enrollment is on the rise.

Choosing the right school for your child, at any age, is one of the most important decisions a parent can make. I am so glad that you are considering Addlestone Hebrew Academy!

When my kids started preschool at AHA I thought, “How nice, they will learn some songs and stories and we will enhance our home with a little Jewish culture.” But when my oldest was ready for elementary school, it became clear that Addlestone had so much more to provide for our children and our family than songs and stories.

As Admissions Director and a parent, I recognized that Addlestone cultivates students who become strong human beings with a firm Jewish identity and a strong moral compass.  More than a school to me, the faculty, staff and even the school community became my partners in providing my children with the very best possible foundation for their lives. Now that my children are in 8th, 6th and 3rd grades, I can honestly say that, with the support of Addlestone, they are engaged students and part of a diverse community of peers, who share interests that go beyond the popular culture to include Jewish values and performing mitzvot.

That is way more than I expected when we signed up for preschool! I hope that you find everything at Addlestone that I have. Please contact me to set up a school visit.
